NSU Culture Fest - Wacipi/Powwow 2013
I spent a few hours enjoying a Native American Wacipi (AKA Powwow) on Saturday November 2nd, 2013.
It is part of Northern State University's Culture Fest, they have each year. I have gone to the powwow for the last three years and always enjoy watching the dancing and drumming. Next year I hope to make it to the events on Friday evening as well.
Here are a few pictures. I think I am getting better - one of these days I will get my camera settings mastered and take sharp flawless pictures. (You can see previous years by clicking the links at the bottom of this post.)
